PCSD Safety Week, September 5-8
The Putnam County School District takes the safety and well-being of our students, staff and community seriously. To ensure that our learning community is confident in our safety procedures, we have designated the week of September 5-8 as our Safety Week.
We have included information on our website (https://www.putnamschools.org/page/student-safety) so that you are aware of our happenings. You are welcome and encouraged to have a conversation with your child in advance regarding any of the content we will review during Safety Week. The video content selected is age appropriate and the topics fall in line with FLDOE’s required instruction and State legislation.
If there is a video you would prefer your child not see, please contact your school and fill out a Safety Video Opt-out Form.

At Tuesday’s School Board Meeting, the Putnam County Tax Collector's office recognized the sponsors that make the Tag Art Program possible in Putnam County. A big 'Thank you' to Seminole Electric Cooperative, Inc., TECO Peoples Gas, Beck Automotive Group, Vulcan Materials Company, Waste Pro, and Douglas Law Firm for their diligence in ensuring our students have the opportunity each year to participate in the Tag Art Program. Due to the success of this program, more than $12,000 will be distributed to schools and will provide art supplies for our Putnam County students. Each student was given a tag with their design imprinted on it as a keepsake.
When a ‘Tag Art’ tag or cup is purchased part of the proceeds go to the school in which that artist attends. We have attached the link & encourage you to purchase our student's artwork! https://www.putnamtax.com/services/motorist-services/license-tag-art/kids-tag-art-portal/
