April is Month of the Military Family in Florida, a time to honor and thank the children of our military families for their strength, sacrifice, and service. Military children often face challenges such as moves, deployments, and time away from loved ones, and we are proud to recognize them.
On Wednesday, April 15, wear purple to show your support for military-connected students across our district. Purple was chosen because it represents all branches of the military.

Florida’s new law requires all student-athletes entering 9th grade and any new athlete in grades 10–12 to have an EKG before participating in school athletics. Because our junior-senior high schools serve grades 7–12, ALL current and future student-athletes in grades 7–12 are welcome to attend one of our PCSD Athletic EKG Events. No student will be turned away.
EKGs are $20, and financial assistance is available.

“Find Your Career Path” workshops will be offered at 4:30 p.m., 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. to help students discover majors and careers that fit their interests and personality.
