PCSD's Federal Programs Title III ESOL program received a $10,000 grant to support our English Language Learners with language acquisition. Our school district serves almost 700 ELL students out of our 10,000 student population. This allowed us to purchase iPads and cases to support our newcomer ELL students in the classroom. Our students use these iPads to communicate with classmates and their teachers as they work toward language proficiency. Communicating with peers and their teachers can be a real barrier but with the students having the IPADs they are able to communicate effectively and be actively engaged in their learning. We are so grateful for United Way-SJC Strategic funds.

It is the LAST DAY OF SCHOOL for the 2022-23 school year!

Alpha Delta Kappa presented the 2023 Lamp of Learning Awards to deserving 6th grade students from each of our elementary schools. These honorees, who each received a $50 award, were chosen for being great student leaders academically and socially.
