The Putnam County School District is thrilled to recognize the outstanding high school students who have earned the title of New Worlds Scholar for the 2024–2025 school year! These scholars have completed a minimum of 75 hours of tutoring through the R.A.I.S.E. High School Tutoring Program, a statewide initiative focused on building early literacy skills for K–3 students.

Natalee Hardy, senior at Putnam Virtual School, completed 75+ tutoring hours at William D. Moseley Elementary School, helping our youngest learners build a foundation of reading success.
Ava Mishanetz, junior at Interlachen Jr.-Sr. High School, earned this honor by tutoring early readers at Robert H. Jenkins, Jr. Elementary School.
Kendall Torsanko, junior at Interlachen Jr.-Sr. High School, devoted her time to tutoring at Robert H. Jenkins, Jr. Elementary School.
Avre’yana Rodgers, from Palatka Jr.-Sr. High School, earned recognition for her impactful tutoring at James A. Long Elementary School.
Dyana Valdez, junior at Interlachen Jr.-Sr. High School, completed over 75 hours tutoring at Robert H. Jenkins, Jr. Elementary School.
Laela Santiago, senior at Crescent City Jr.-Sr. High School, provided valuable tutoring support at Middleton-Burney Elementary School.
