In November 2022, Putnam County voters approved the issuance of general obligation bonds up to $300,000,000 to be used by the Putnam County School District to fund the construction and renovation of safe and modern learning environments for every child and teacher in our county.
We are grateful for the support of our citizens who have shown great trust and pride in the power of public education. We are eager to begin collaborating with our community members through our Bond Oversight Committees.
The Bond Oversight Committee (BOC), composed of community members (non-PCSD staff), serves as advisors for project plan implementation related to funding expenditure. The committee will meet quarterly beginning in 2023 until all projects are completed.
The BOC will support the District’s efforts to inform the community on the status of the bond projects.
Applications for the Bond Oversight Committee are available on the Putnam County School District Website from February 15 - March 15, 2023.
If you wish to serve on this committee, please review the committee Bylaws
for more information about the committee’s role and responsibilities and complete the application.
Completed applications must be received by the Putnam County School District by Wednesday, March 15, 2023.
Applications may be emailed to amccool@my.putnamschools.org or mailed to the following:
