Congratulations to Cheryl Woolwine for receiving the Florida ISTE Making It Happen Award at the Winter FCITL (Florida Council of Instructional Technology Leaders) Leadership Symposium!
The International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) is a community of global educators who believe in the power of technology to transform teaching and learning. Each year they acknowledge educators who use technology in innovative ways to encourage, empower, and inspire students and teachers with the Making It Happen Award.
This year's recipient of the Florida ISTE Making It Happen Award was none other than PCSD’s own Cheryl Woolwine, an AT/ Tech Specialist in our Exceptional Student Education Department. Alongside her award, Cheryl was also given the ISTE Making It Happen Jacket.
As a Making It Happen Award Recipient, Cheryl has been identified as an educator who uses technology in innovative ways to support learning goals; knows that change is necessary but a process; inspires and encourages, and realizes that empowering teachers is the way to transforming education.
Congratulations Cheryl! Thank you for all you do in supporting the students and teachers of PCSD!
