Faye Davis is the leader of our bustling hive.

With strong and steady guidance she helps our hive to thrive.

She keeps all her bees - small and large - busily buzzing.

Did You Know...

That according to recognized aerodynamic tests the bumble bee should not be able to fly because of the shape of its body in relationship to its total wing area. Yet, the bumble bee, not knowing this flies anyway.

Just like our incredible students.

The Buzz From the Hive....

It's that time again. Time for the teachers to set up their classrooms, get their class lists, and prepare for the new year.

It's time for our parents to check bus schedules, start the little guys back on a daily schedule, and prepare to share their children with us.

Most of our teachers have spent the summer attending trainings so they have lots of new ideas to implement this year. With the districts new policies there are many changes that we will continue to see within the classrooms.

As we get started and your child's teacher sends home paperwork to be completed PLEASE do so. This paperwork is very important.
Some of it is to help the teacher within the classroom and some of it is required by the school for safety reasons. We are a special school with extra special children. We need the requested information to best assist them and assure their health and safety.

If you any questions please feel free to call us (386)329-0595 or come by. We will be glad to help.

E.H. Miller's School Advisory Council meets on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 1:00 p.m. Parents and community members are invited to join us to discuss their ideas.
