attendance matters

Putnam Virtual School students are full-time students enrolled in a public school and therefore must meet the attendance requirements pursuant to state statute. Attendance is mandatory and must be recorded on a daily basis.

Below you will find instructions on how PVS students are marked present.

    Username hint <username>@my.putnamschools.org

Password hint: Use the password provided by Ms. Futch

  4. Click on Mrs. Putman's Page and then click on CANVAS

  5. Once you login to CANVAS, you will see the PVS Daily Attendance tile.

  6. Click on the Daily Attendance Tile. This is our "homeroom". Be sure you read through the information on our homeroom page each week.

  7. On our page we also have shared Social Emotional Learning Lessons. Social-emotional learning (SEL) is the process of developing the self-awareness, self-control, and interpersonal skills that are vital for school, work, and life success. State law requires districts to integrate social-emotional learning or character education into the school curriculum. Please click on the correct grade level and complete one lesson per week.

  8. Lots of other information is found on this page. I encourage you to scroll all the way to the bottom so that you are aware of what information can be found here.

  9. To be marked PRESENT, you must scroll down and click on your curriculum icon- either FLVS, Imagine Learning or Unique.

  10. Once you have clicked on your curriculum icon, you will be linked to your curriculum login page. At this point, you have been marked PRESENT for the day.

These directions can also be found on Mrs. Putman's CLEVER page and here.
